Original art exhibitions - post - ins.

 

We are now accepting Posting in of Artwork to be displayed on the Artist's behalf.

The artwork will be displayed upon a pegboard display board - dimensions being

2m high x 1 m wide ( 6ft 8 inches x 40 inches ) known as a side.

All Artwork sent must be able to fit within these dimensions easily.

 

The exhibitions are held over two days or one day dependent on the time of year.

 

A new Booking Form for the year 2009 will soon be available.

 

The cost of exhibiting will be £25 per Event, all in - one day or two, payable in the

first week of the month of the Event or sooner to pre-book future space.

 

The artwork will be sent to our Agent and all communications re sending/returning

such will be undertaken with them on our behalf. Deadlines will be set between the

two parties to make it as easy as possible - the secret to this is to keep it simple and

be guided by good communications. The Agents contact details and address will only

be sent out once payment has been received.

 

The cost of any postage/Insurance to and from the Agent will be born by the absent Exhibitor.

It is suggested that an open or crossed Postal Order ( no cheques ) be made out and accompany the Artwork

when first sent to cover the costs of its return. If there needs to be an adjustment of costs upwards

please cover this, if there is a reduction in costs - due to sales etc, please stand the minor loss.

 

At present there is no facility to store artworks for consecutive Events.

 

There is NO Commission upon sales - what it sells for is what you receive.

 

Payment of sold works will be as soon as possible after payment has cleared with us., if cash -

forthwith but sent as a cheque or crossed Postal Order ( please indicate your preference ).

You will be notified of any sales the following day by e-mail, unless the Agent contacts you first.

If you wish the Agent to act on your behalf in the sales e.g., talking to customers and offering discounts

for cash and multiple sales, possible commissions, 'live' phone calls for decisions etc, please

arrange this independently.

 

This is a new feature and will be limited to 6 Official Post-ins max per Event, this year but we

may increase the facility next year, if viable. If very popular we will start a reserve list, however we

work on a ' first come first served ' basis secured by payment upfront - the works can follow later.

 

We do NOT provide any public liability cover for the display of these pieces of Artwork,

nor are they insured against breakages, accidental or otherwise, such cover is your

responsibility and you undertake to accept this. We do provide overnight security on

the premises when the Event is held over two or more days.

 

If there are any problems with the transportation of the Artworks, please discuss this with

the Agent. If works have been paid to be exhibited and are not available due to avoidable

circumstances or actions not undertaken by yourself then no refund can be made.

 

Where there are unforseen circumstances and a genuine problem has arisen and you still wish

to display, the works can be entered into the next Exhibition ' extra ' to the quota in the next Event.

 

Failing this a refund, minus costs, if any, will be made within 30 days.

 

A proforma application will be sent out upon enquiry.

 

All new Artists pay a one - time Admin fee, no discounts presently available to regular Exhibitors

or members of the SAA apply to absentee Exhibitors.
